Okay here goes…I’m out of the closet…..Five quirky things about me….I thought I’d Lucas to the game while I was at it.

#1 I really liked living in Korea because the people there thought I was funny. People here don’t laugh at my jokes. Maybe that’s why I teach ESL…boosts my self-confidence or something like that. I never thought of myself as a funny person until I went to live in Korea.
#2 I hardly ever by arrowroot cookies for my son Lucas because they disappear out of our house too fast by Adam and I.
#3 When I was young, I dreamed of being a famous figure skater. I have never taken skating lessons but I always loved watching figure skating on T.V.
#4 When I was young I would always dream about what I was going to wear on the first day of school and when that was over I would dream about what I was going to dress up for Halloween. And then after that I would dream about what I was going to wear to my Christmas program. Now I dream about how I can decorate my house on a shoestring budget.
#5 When I was in university my staple diet was fruit smoothies and tator tots. I would pick strawberries, blue berries and raspberries in the summer, store them in my aunt’s freezer and then when I needed more berries during the school year, I would just go there to get them.
Bonus: I don’t really trip up or down stairs……

#1 Whenever we are in the car, Lucas takes off his socks and throws them up front at us. He really likes to go barefoot whenever possible.
#2 Lucas can scarf a whole bottle down without coming up for air. He can also scarf a banana down in about 2 minutes flat.
#3 For some reason Lucas’ favourite soother is pink and has a ballerina on it. Perfect for Adam’s son.
#4 Lucas’ favourite game is to play pass with whomever will play with him. He will start by throwing a ball at you. If you respond by picking it up and throwing it back the game will continue. If no one will throw the ball back, he will just throw it, crawl after it, throw it somewhere else, crawl after it and so on.
#5 Lucas loves his dad….you should see him snuggle up to Adam….it is just the cutest thing!
